What’s the product?

We’ve carefully chosen a core range of four fantastic thirst-quenchers from Lovely Drinks: Indian Tonic Water, essential for a crisp G&T, plus fabulously floral Elderflower Presse, fresh and zingy Ginger Beer, and gorgeously pink, tangy Raspberry Lemonade (all great on their own, or a brilliant addition to cocktails).

Who’s behind it?

Lovely Drinks was originally founded by Bristolians Rick and Victoria, but has since grown into a national sensation – they’re still based in Bristol though, and still true to their passion for natural flavours and great ingredients.

What’s the story?

Rick stumbled across his mum’s old recipe for elderflower champagne quite by accident, but since it was elderflower season, it seemed natural to make up a batch, which turned out rather well. Rick and Victoria decided to take a leaf out of mum’s book and experiment with the flavours a little, adding roses to the recipe, which resulted in something so delicious they just had to try taking it to markets and then to the Love Food festivals. The response from customers was overwhelming, and before long Michelin-starred pubs and local National Trust properties were placing orders. Now Lovely Drinks send their beautiful beverages all around the world, but they’re still proudly independent!

Why we love it…

Team TOB are big fans of a good G&T, and top-quality tonic is absolutely essential – we love the classic Indian Tonic Water, but the Cucumber Tonic Water takes things to a whole new level and is gorgeously refreshing. The other three drinks are brilliant crowd-pleasers, whether you need something special for someone who doesn’t drink booze, or you’re looking for inspiration for a truly spectacular cocktail!
